Coach Richmand, Certified Professional Coach
I earned my Certified Professional Coaching credential in April, 2006 from IPEC, the Institute For
Professional Excellence in Coaching. IPEC offers one of the most a rigorous coach training programs in the country and is
accredited by the International Coaching Federation, ICF. In 2011 I earned an additional Professional Certified Coach
credential directly through the ICF after demonstrating proficiency in coaching skills through a comprehensive application
and exam process established to ensure the highest standards for the coaching profession.
I work with clients living all over the world, from New York & Chicago to Istanbul & Melbourne,
to help them move forward and achieve balance in their professional and personal lives. I have offices in Westchester County,
New York, but frequently work via Skype or FaceTime with clients who live too far or have demanding schedules.
Prior to coaching, I had a career in marketing and owned/operated several
successful businesses. I have first hand knowledge of management, marketing, sales, and buying. Necessarily, I understand
the issues facing rising professionals and entrepreneurs. I have experienced first-hand the stress and exhilaration of
owning a business, having a boss and being the boss.
my personal life, I have been married since 1983 and have three beautiful, grown children. They are perfect and imperfect,
just like all children. The definition of "balance" changes quite a bit as personal responsibilities increase. No
one knows this more than a parent of 3 children, except maybe a parent of 4 or more.
My coaching style is enthusiastic and practical, with a little humor mixed in. On the road to achieving
your dreams, it is important to have a coach that works toward real world solutions, not "pie in the sky" ideas.
Coaching is not therapy, so we don't have the same boundaries. I encourage my clients to email between sessions. I want the
opportunity to cheer you on when you succeed and help you through bumps you may encounter while implementing your weekly plan.
I love my job, and it is my pleasure to talk about it. Please feel
free to call with any questions. You can reach me at 914-330-9103 or firstname.lastname@example.org
